A refundable damage waiver of €200 is required per stay. The wood for the Log Burner if required is charged at €10 per day, Departure clean if requested is charged at €50

Changeover days are Saturdays with arrival from 4pm and departure by 10am on departure date.

An alternative change over day may be possible in the Low and Mid Season if it does not conflict with other bookings.

We regret that we are unable to process Credit or Debit Card payments at the property

Terms and Conditions

Prices shown are for a rental of one week (7nights) - Saturday to Saturday

To secure a booking a non refundable deposit of 50% of the weekly rental is required along with a completed booking form.

The balance is to be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to the start of the holiday.
A security and breakages deposit of £200 or €200 is required to be paid on settlement of the balance (4 weeks prior to arrival)
This is to cover potential damage to the property or contents during the rental period.
The deposit will be refunded within 5 days of departure once the property has been checked Once the final payment has been made in full there will be no refund except the deposit for security and breakages (£200 or €200)

Included in the weekly rental fee

Electricity - 150KwH (Unit) this is more than the average weekly use in the summer months Gas (cooking)
Water
All bedding and bed linen (sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases)
Towels (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person) bath mat and tea towels
For small children there is a Baby pack - travel cot, high chair and stair gates.
Please note that you will need to bring your own blankets and linen for the cot and baby towels.

Not included

Beach/swimming towels.
The cost of wood - There is a wood fired stove in the main room that will heat the Gite in the winter months. The stove is very efficient and will remain lit over night. We will explain how to operate the stove when you arrive. The building is very well insulated and the heat from the stove will warm entire Gite.

There is a charge of 10€ a day, €60 per week for the supply of firewood payable upon arrival. Additional units for electricity above 150KwH (Units) will be charged at 0.15€ per KwH (the current EDF rate)

Other Notes

The property is available from 4.00 p.m. (local time) on the arrival date and must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. (local time) on the day of departure. Any changes to these times must be by prior arrangement.
We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance, including cancellation cover, loss of personal belongings etc.

The owner shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury that may occur during the rental period. Nor for any loss, damage or injury which results from adverse weather conditions.

Please report immediately any problems such as defects or malfunction of equipment within the property so that replacements and repairs can be arranged as quickly as possible.

The maximum number of people staying at the property must not exceed the number stated on the booking form, without prior arrangement.

The property must be left in the same condition as upon arrival. An additional cleaning charge of €50 may be deducted from the security deposit if the property is not left in a good condition.

Please remove all bottles/cans and plastic containers to the recycling point in the village of Le Mesnil Garnier.

Strictly no smoking in the Gite.

In order to maintain a high standard of hygiene we do not allow dogs, cats or any other pets in the Gite.
